Ohh yea i haven't reported back to you all about the Ladies tournament, yeaa well let’s say it was a good party. It indeed was. And yea i know, i get the good gigs :)

Who freaking cares about a 2678 Euro worth bag excising in only two exemplars. Would just booze it away anyway. Thank god I didn't win it, I would have feel so bad losing it.

I tried so so hard making a deal with Frida (Zupps girlfriend) who actually won in the end, that IF I win, I trade the bag for her hat or MÖSSA as we say in Swedish, I got a thing for MÖSSOR, maybe because the word is so sweet. Probably.
She desperately wanted the bag. BUT she didn’t wanna give up her MÖSSA. That tilted me a bit and I ended up fourth…..Big contratz to Frida, she played a well aggressive and stubborn game, note: she was also the only sober when 5 left. Good on her!

BUT on my way I actually manage to do some true suck out’s and few bad beats…first against sweet sweet Denize (Neubuchads former girlfriend) WTF is this a GOSSIP Colum or WOOT?

Denise went all in on the button; I had the BB and looked down a pair of lovely fours. Somehow I just sensed the 4 will come, when you know that you can’t fold. I called. She had AA. Horrendously Shockingly the 4 didn’t come on the flop and I feel cheated on my instinct, but when it arrived on the river all was back to normal again. Day after someone where mumbling about a K4 later on but I can honestly say I don’t remember.

Also the drinks around the poker table where a bit different then one ordinary sees on an EPT. As someone i know would had said about the boys side of the room: How Boring!

My dear friend Emma, she is dear to me for many many reasons but one is she is never ever boring to be around, and she never says no to few drinks, dont matter when or where or how or what! We had a good time on the FT table during the tournament, in need of celebrating a side bet worth more then the fist price indeed. Two crazy Danish players that always have sidebets, did just that between My Emma and the other guys VIP manager, also Called Emma. He actually flew that Emma in from UK over the day only for this tournament and to beat MY emma out,but what where HE thinking?

Emma finished 3 th and got 10k Danish for that, well done!

BTW, Jesper 'Kipster' Hougaard (two bracelet winners in same year and one in WSOP one in WSOPE) that lost the 'Emma' bet, against Jesper P (Jesper finished 8 th on EPT FT CPH this year) actually lost another side bet against his own brother, a last longest, the one losing had to clean the other ones apartment i saw a very nice video made about it yesterday! I more or less laughed so i cried.

Ages ago really!
I sat down to write a blog, not that nothing happens, trust me it does :)But the time seems to fly of my hands ....

Ok its time for a roadtrip again, long time since now but its EPT copenhagen and i got invited to play (inofficial) European Poker Queen. Ahh well, its not as dramatic as it sound its 20 selected girls fighting out over a 60 000 DKR price pool and added prices for 22 000 DKR some silly YSL bag... i just lost them when am drunk anyway so hey hoe that one i give away when i win :P


I arrived yesterday and as soon as the pressbraclet where on i jumped out around the table hugging and kissing soooo nice to be back on my home turf!

Anyway, geting the press braclet one have to go trough security, they kind of know me well, he said

It started really well.. arrived to the casino hotel Monday 22:00, send the reception up with my bags and went straight to the bar, i mean i know how the rooms look at this hotel and going to get feed up of it anyway before Sunday!

Its Danish open and am here to work, and here is where it gets funny, work means in most cases,papers, computers ect, but in this case, it means mingling, drinking partying bhaaa.. hard life alright!

Yesterday was crazy funny! Danish people are good party people and we ended up in a shity little bar in Nyhavn singing along to the karaoke and long time since i laughed so much. Funny to see people that you normally see on poker tables all over the world just kick lose hahaha... i wish i dare to post some photos but i think i need to respect my mates and keep them for private occasions lol.





Got a vague memory we rang up Icebear in London doing some serious peptalk and advice about today's FT table hahaha.. yeaa quite sure he appreciated it enormously!

Also got a vague memory of some crazy sidebets about beard growth, like who got the longest beard in 15 day lol, so if you wanna see who between its just to watch the poker scene in Europe and look out for the hairy ones!

Anyway...a bit tired now, haven had a decent sleep for ages so room service is ordered and Mr laptop and i will crawl up in bed railing Icebear on Ept live.

Tonight am off with the gang to a local little poker club to play a 'hygge' tour and share some beers. Most of the gang plays EPT ish tours so this 300 Dk rebuy tour is not their biggest win or lose for sure but MAKE no mistake is deadly serious, there are sidebets going on worth a small car!

I should write about the ladies night at casino yesterday as it was weird, the mid age was around 65 and the game.. well.. lets say i wish they come for a proper tour!

I made finaltable even though it was the weirdest game i ever played. EVERY hand and even in hands, they discussed among themslefs what they folded and showing cards to the left and right. Hillarious i mean i cant tell a 70 yrs old to ******** and shape up. Well floor manager that i know very well asked me before the game, pls anna just take it as a joke its most first time playing, i give you a bottle of champagne.

Malta poker challange 2009

Long time since i played a proper good structured tour but MPC been in he calendar for long and I warmed up with a few wins in the Casino week prior so felt it could be a good one.

Starting 92 players

I sat as chipleader most of both days and ended on final table but couldn't keep it up and busted fast as nr 10. Sucked at the time but consider the field of Scandinavian players that where here from this occasion i guess I proofed to myself i have improved my game. :)\

I have a few hands we maybe should discuss, or well i at least happily take feedback on them

Hand one is maybe 5 hrs into the tour on day one and i am chipleader with 60 k. I just been moved to a new table and pick in the second hand hand up 55, am on cut off position and its folded to me. I do a standard raise, and its folded to BB that makes a standard don't steal my blind rerasie. I figure he wants to show me i cant boss around, he sits with 50 k so i ofc need to be a aware of the fact he can cripple me badly.

I call and decided that unless i hit my set or get it cheap i give up, i have no clue how he plays or how the table is. Flop actually comes 95J two hearts. He acts first and shove all in instantly.

Here is i am a bit in doubt, he can have pretty much anything, JJ 99 bigger pair, smaller pair, flush draw... i think for quite a while to be honest, i feel i got a good stack and shall it really be risked here on the lowest set on such draw board? To be really honest i considered folding, as i have no information about him at all. But then i say to my self, FFS you HAVE to call, why are you playing that hand else?

So i say to him i think your drawing a flush right? And make the call. He is he has two hearts Q high He get furious shouting slow role lol, but i don't care about that, i didn't slow role i took my time thinking about a decision that was for almost my whole stack.

My set holds up and am now very ok in chips. The whole table telling me it was an easy call the way he been playing, but as its my second hand at table i cant know and i never underestimate a player, its a big mistake doing so.



We play down to 20 players that day and its a long day and I lost a bit in end, and the drinks with the boys taste ever so good :)\ so it get to be a loooong night haha!

Day two is kicking of good for me wining my two first hands and really increase my stack, sitting with 160 k average is around 45 k i believe.




Hand two: is me on BB (3000) and remember i have 160k. Round fold to Cut off that has 11 k in total, 9 more for me to call, i need to call any two here but looking down on worst possible hand, 82, hoever its in SPADE my ultimte saver :)\ so i say sorruyto the lady, sorry if i win and then I make the call. She has a AQ hit her A on flop, turn 8 and river 2. Then poker is easy all right.

Hand three: Am losing a few pots and down to 120 k when i in BB pick up QQ, first decent hand i seen for several hrs. An Italian at the table is extremely tight he folded KK preflop even..... he is on cut off and make a standard rasie, he has AA about 5 times last 2 hrs so he cant bloody have that again i say to myself, think typical AK and then small blind goes all in, i know he can do that with any hand there, he done that a lot so i am pretty sure i have him so i push, to get the italian to fold, and i make a very stupid mistake here i don't take time to really check how much stack he has, i think even if he calls i win most of SB stack, but he suddenly lift up a whole stack of blue chips from the behind his stack and i know this is not good, if he win he win both and am very crippled maybe 40k or so left.... and i know he would have folded AK so i was only wrong in the fact he didn't have AK hahahaha.. he bloody well picked up AA again!

The Italian has AA, SB has JJ and my QQ didn't manage to find a mate so hey hoe am crippled, down to 42 k.




I regret i didn't take my time thinking trough the hand, i just acted, and of all the hands in the tour this was the only one i didn't take that time, and it costed me, not sure i could have folded but still its better to think it trough proper. And in all fairness,,,,, maybe QQ should gone in the muck there.

But it was the bubble play and i was so so sure i had the SB and hoped Italian to fold. I was wrong :)\

Finaltable and i have 10 BB have 78 spades UTG and stick em in, its my favourite hand and its also two live card i figure against any ace. Folded all around to BB that is the Italian guy and now he has QQ .

Ahh well.... overall happy with my play, had a few discussion with players i respect that played with me several years when i lived i Sweden, we run a poker club together. So discussed a lot and i got some very good advice, they study my game for hrs, i really appreciate that a lot for experienced players taking time to study me and help me.

Ahhhh.. today is a very good day!

Out walking my dog i stumbled over the most refreshing trash bag ever, it really really made me happy!

In Malta getting ride of your trash you place it outside on the street, and my neighbour just did. bingo.

Am just little puzzled why he had the bag to start with but i choose not to think about that too much and just enjoy the sight and FACT he used it for his trash!

And yes.. i did run up after the camera, and yes people saw me on my knees taking these photos, and yes i like to think am refreshingly weird :)\

I blame my neighbour

Bloody Air condition on Casino made me sick... fever and pain in my throat, and BUBBLE, Jesus!! As one of the things isn't enough! And i was so unbelievable hungover both Sunday and Monday so that gotta stop! The hungover i mean ....

A tip: Dragonara serve breakfast to 20:00 and its freaking fabulous marvelous as kicking good! My table order it for me to the break. Along with a big beer! What can i say, my old poker dudes there likes me!


And is it really ok to drink 2 bottles of wine per day?
And 3 nights a week get totally blaaaaastered?

Actually i blame my neighbor, she walks her dog pass my place every evening and i thought instead of me getting up opening the doorbuzzzer all the time, i gave her keys its very handy indeed, she comes in shout 'haloooo chicka' down to my computer room where i most times are, goes to fridge opening a bottle of vine take two glasses, pull the power cord to my pc and says: enough, balcony, with me. Now!

I really love her ....a lot!
But we have negotiated about the power to the PC as its a bit hard IMO so now i instead stand up straight i her that halloo, and if i don't, she give me some warning. Thanks, most appreciated.

I had a wooden group of table and chairs on my balcony but its was not my idea really, its not that big and besides they where not very uncomfortable and i figure if one BBQ one can just as well sit at the dining table 1 m inside the balcony door so i throw that group out, got a chill sofa and two cozy chairs instead... my sweet landlady had this group in her summer house in Meliha but wanted to throw it, hmmm well when she said that i got little superstitious, she is NOT the throwing type so i though - how do they look?

But its ok, not new ofc, but the better then one can PARTY LIKE a ROCKSTAR and play 'luftguitarr' standing in them. You might not believe this, but am pretty sure if you ask the people on this street i make an awesome Smoke on the water and ABBA's Waterloo to singalong program. Well anyway, i think its absolutley bloody awesome, Milena is a bit more skeptic, but HEY, not everyone can sing like her FFS!

One thing though, am quite tolerant with colors, only one i cant stand is light blue, arghhhh yes ofc the pillows in sofa are light blue, but i will track down someone who can make me new covers, at least i got a sofa! Found some nice groups of furniture but they where all to big so this is okedoki and for free- me like !

Saturday we had a Salsa night, a bit spontaneous, and that's the best! Spontaneous Utz Utz are the best ones, everyone knows this, its not a life NASA secret. However, I might consider leaving my camera home, I don't know what happen but my mistake probably I hit the video function on it, so well just let say its not gooood!

Why didnt i buy the book?

December 2007 i went to Sidney to play the APPT Grand final.

I had an amazing 10 days with poker and traveling, both i love. The poker was worst suck out ever, already written about it here so wont go into that boring part. Floped quads against better quads.. on the river. bhaaaa!

One day i went for a long walk, and ended up in a park, in the park they had an exhibition of 'photos from the above'. Am so amazed by these ones, i really can study them forever.

I bought a book to give away to a special friend, that took care of Tess for me while away, but how stupid i was to not buy a book full of these amazing pictures to myself, i would have the perfect place for it now, in my Maltese balcony, places on a 'painters staffli' i would change one page every day, read about the miracle shoot and enjoy the picture.

But i didnt buy the bok. And been lazy, i could prob order it online.but.... not the same...somehow... maybe wish if for xmas!



Its photos taken by Yann Arthus-Bertrand, he fly around our earth and take photos from the above..... its strong beautiful amazing photos. The organization where he is chairman made an movie called : HOME (Yann Arthus-Bertrand are the photographer)
Its very long but, if one take time and watch it, its stunning pics, preferably i listen to it without commentators just music cos some of the stuff she says is.. well.. don't go with my theory anyway.

But i did hook it up one evening to my TV and sat there in the dark watching these amazing colors, it was nice. Also the lasagna that i cooked that day, eaten in sofa, (love eating in sofa BTW ) was nice, and the red wine was a filthy expensive bottle my boss send me in a packet of 10 bottles for my birthday, i enjoyed it but i still would have enjoyed having the book even more
